In 2001, Traci Bautista left a successful career in the corporate world to pursue her passion for art, launching her creative business endeavor treiC designs. She has a BS Graphic Design and Marketing degree from Woodbury University. Prior to becoming a full-time artist, Traci climbed the corporate ladder in Silicon Valley, marketing high-tech start ups and brands like IBM and Animal Planet. With twenty years experience in design and marketing combined with fourteen years of teaching art, Traci is now an accomplished instructor, author, marketing strategist and mixed media artist.
Traci contributes her success as an artist to her past experiences and innate drive to explore and create without boundaries. Throughout the past 14 years, she has traveled the world to teach mixed media workshops and guided thousands of artists to PLAY, paint intuitively and unleash their creative spirit. In her playful, collaborative classes, she shares her organic art making process and outside of the box thinking. She helps build creative confidence and encourages her students to “see things differently”, to let go and trust themselves as they face the blank canvas.
