{The Book of “ME”} Artist Journal Be inspired…vibrant, playful, inspirational …these words describe the creative process for creating this whimsical art piece. The project includes assembling a beautiful one-of-a-kind artist’s journal learning simple beaded bookbinding techniques and creating a fabric journal bag. The project exposes the children to a variety of art activities, art history lessons and art mediums. Projects will include color theory, painting, bookbinding, working with found objects/tools, carving stamps, mixed media collage, creating personal symbols and fabric work. The students will be led in a “creativity” exercise in their journal.

Each day we will focus on a modern artist and create a collage based on their techniques. Create beautiful layered art! {Digital Art Intensive Journal} Learn bookbinding and use the computer to design, paginate and print high-quality pages and covers for your own persona hand-bound journal. Learn graphic design and editing skills to create one-of-a-kind special editions.
{reVAMPED: Wearable Art} Give you wardrobe a new twist...learn about the fun and fascinating world of "Wearable Art"! Explore color, fabric painting and jewelry making. We will paint and stamp fabric and sew a pouch, adding beadwork and fabric collage! Create unique treasures including a hand painted t-shirt and handmade jewelry. No prior experience is necessary. Just bring your imagination and creative spirit. The possibilities are endless!
